Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers
Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers
For over a decade, Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers have produced nothing but uncompromised, unadulterated, 100% pure rock-n-roll. Sticking to their credo of art leading commerce, the Tempe-based quarter have released six consecutive studio albums that all debuted in the top 10 on Billboard's Internet Sales chart (the first independent band to ever accomplish that feat) by mixing relentless guitar licks, four part harmonies, thought-provoking lyrics and tequila.

Roger Clyne, guitarist Jim Dalton, drummer P.H. Naffah and bassist Nick Scropos look to continue that streak on Unida Cantina, the most upbeat and collaborative effort yet for the band. It's also Clyne's most infectious record since he and Naffah released their 1996 cult-classic, Fizzy, Fuzzy, Big and Buzzy with their previous band, The Refreshments. Unida Cantina is music marinated with pure American guitar-driven roots rock-n-roll. It's a unification point of people with like hearts and minds who still want to rock. And along the way, they may just also find Unida Cantina.
Poor J Brown
Poor J Brown
Music rooted from the front porch soul of East Texas to the back porch roots music of the Texas Hill Country. From Southern Louisiana to the blues of New York and Chicago, all of these influences come together to create a sound that is strikingly original yet familiar. Leon Waddy plays the keys and writes the songs. Myles Smith adds vocals with soul. Mike Hernandez spices up the beats while Clete Ritta adds the diverse sounds he gets from the pedal steel, mandolin, or a screaming lead guitar. Tim Germadnik keeps a deep rhythm going on bass and anything left uncovered is filled with the reeds from Matt Morgan’s accordion.

Poor J. Brown is not just Americana music. It’s American music. The debut CD “Hill Country Soul” has blues, funk, country, soul, rap and reggae influences all blended in different combinations throughout the compilation. You’ll hear the influences but even more than that you’ll hear what happens when great songwriting comes together with great musicianship. Poor J. Brown is all about these combinations. Great guys and great music…the end result being one hell of a great time.
Zack Walther Band
Zack Walther Band
Founding members Matt Briggs, James Tommey, and Zack Walther released their debut EP in May 2013 and are currently touring Texas and the Southwest. With James on bass, Zack on lead vocals and guitar, and Matt on drums, the trio fills bars and dance halls with sounds ranging from harmonica, whistling, and three-part harmonies to gritty, chest-pounding rock.

Charley Crockett
Charley Crockett
Charley Crockett, a true descendant of Davy Crockett, was born in a poor town in deep South Texas. His early years were spent between Texas and Louisiana, raised by a blues singing single mother in Dallas, and an uncle who introduced him to the big brass sound of the French Quarter in New Orleans where he would later learn how to play guitar as a street performer. In 2009, Crockett showed up in New York City, where he made a living captivating subway car audiences for several years before being discovered and offered a record deal as part of the street group "Trainrobbers." Deciding to take his chances in a rapidly changing music industry, Charley declined the offer and headed west to California instead. Of mixed Jewish/White/Creole dissent, he has a unique sound blending a rich and diverse heritage of both new and traditional music. Crockett has been compared to many artists from Bill Withers and Jerry Lee Lewis to Dr. John and Citizen Cope. Elusive, rebellious and self taught, Crockett is a true street made original from earlier times.
